First Nations Clean Water Initiative

The water crisis in First Nations communities in Canada is unacceptable.

It is easy to take clean drinking water for granted. We live in Canada, after all.

Yet the problem is enormous. 20% of First Nations communities in Canada are under a boil water advisory. In the province of Ontario, it is 40% of First Nations communities – twice the national average.

A First Nations communities’ health is directly linked to the health of the ecosystems they live in. Both drinking water and their environmental water impact individuals and communities on a daily basis. Our Founder grew up without access to clean drinking water and we are committed to making a tangible difference for future generations.

We are proud to confirm Chief Beverage Imports’ First Nations Clean Water Initiative, where we will donate 5% of our earnings to support clean water in First Nations communities.

Our initiative will support Water First – Canada’s leading charitable organization dedicated to working with First Nations communities to resolve local water challenges through education, training and collaboration.

There is a national outcry for the state of clean water in First Nations communities. We are taking a stand, together with the customers who support our brands, to contribute to this cause.

Because everyone deserves access to safe, clean water.
